The association uses volunteers to maintain the recreation area. We have people who regularly collect the trash bags from our trash containers and take the trash home to be collected on their regular pick up day. We have other volunteers who use our big, red Toro Groundsmaster 4000d lawnmower to mow the pasture areas of the course. They also use our maintenance cart to collect fallen wood and other natural debris and deposit them in out-of-the-way corners of the area to decay and return to nature. For 2017, our maintenance programs are funded by a contribution from Kettering University to allow us to free up funds for other projects.
